If you're thinking of submitting a character, please look here first.

Tuner Application

Alrighty, time to submit a character sheet to here~
Yup, I'm doing it~
Name: Tuner Symphon
Gender: M
Race: Pegasus
Age: About 21 (In Pony Years)

Slightly tall. Flat snout. Rainbow Dash-like mane with the connections of colors closer to the base. Rainbow Dash-like tail with the bottom half flipped and skewed away from the body. Normal body layout. Colors: Body- Medium blue. Mane and Tail- Cyan and lime. Cutie mark: ( https://2img.net/r/ihimizer/img594/6375/cometcutiemark.png ) A comet with a musical staff as the tail.
Bio: The exact date of Tuner's birth is unknown due to his parents constantly moving around from town to town. His birth was recorded at Detrot, so that is referenced to as his home town, although he's only been there twice.
Other than being constant travelers for unknown reasons, Tuner's parents are/were (unsure if they're still alive) very adept musicians. His mother was a pegasus keyboardist and his father a unicorn violinist. They named him "Tuner Symphon" for a combination of their professions; Tuner for his mother's electronic oriented music and Symphon(y) for his father's orchestral.
They believed he was going to be adept at music, but as he tried different instruments as a colt, it seemed it might be so. He didn't receive a cutie mark all through school, even up into adulthood. They exposed him to nearly all types of music possible, but none of it prevailed.
At the age of 20, he finally received his cutie mark. During the time, the world was being introduced to computers and other machinery such as that. Tuner got lucky and got his hooves on a set that also came equipped with a small music program. He was also living in minor poverty at the time, and his first instinct was to sell the device. Instead, he entered himself into a local contest and won first place as well as enough money to get him off the streets. He also was recognized by a talent seeker.
The talent seeker brought Tuner to Whinnypeg, a northern town covered in snow, ice, and odd ponies. There he was stationed at a ragtag building refurnished as a small radio station and is attempting to get the station to work properly as of now.
(Hey, possible side story ideas?)
Personality: In general, Tuner is one of those typical nice guys, possibly too much for his own good. At times, he could easily be considered naive. He's very trusting in everypony, which is a flaw as well, and tries his best to get along with every single being. However, he has pretty strong opinions, and although he usually is able to put them aside and look on the situation with a different view, he has a short fuse as well. Regarding others' opinions that are quite unique, he sometimes gets frustrated or annoyed, but when it comes to unique situations, he grapples it and takes it in stride the best he can, using it as an opportunity to prove and better himself. His most notable social trait is that he is considered the life of the party a lot of the time. Always as loud as possible when the time calls for it (Canyum might like him...), he will fuel the party from beginning to end, attempting to divert disaster.
Abilities: Music production and management. Social Energy.

After reading through, it seems like Tuner is well balanced as a character, his origins are not too dark, not too light, and overall his personality seems fitting for the established setting! Actually the whole "radio station" deal sounds pretty nice to me! I bet he'd be one of those overly radical characters that like to yell all the time in the radio. Maybe good old Earbud would enjoy some airwave-LOUDNESS. He's got my two thumbs up!

Actually looks pretty fine to me! And yeah, setting up some sort of radio would be nice! Drop on down and pitch that idea in the side plot idea thread. We'll add it to the pile!
